We have about 30 minutes to kill after school gets out and Bela's piano lesson begins each Wednesday. So we usually park and hang out in the car so she can get a jump start on her homework. Tonight was spelling word review, so I called out the words to her. One of them was "train."

Bela says, "Mom, wait a minute. Is it "train" as in "choo choo?" I reply, "yes." Bela: "Oh good, just wasn't sure if it was train, like choo choo, or train as in train your dog."

We were watching a documentary on the Harry Potter movies, when Bela asked me, "How old is the boy who plays Harry Potter?" I told her he was probably in his late teens or early 20's. She said, "How did they make him look so young???" (As if being in your twenties was old!) ha ha

"The best thing about this tie is that it does double duty. When I am done with it, Dad can wear it to work!" - Bela, after we bought the purple and yellow striped Gryffindor tie for her to wear with her Hermione Halloween costume.
